The answer to prayer didn’t come in the form I expected.
Since my high school days, I’ve continually prayed for health in mind, body and spirit. For me, that meant:
- Restoring a body worn by childhood respiratory challenges, diminished in capacity from poor endocrine health, and crying out for restorative diet and exercise.
- Restoring a mind limited by perfectionism, stuck in a scarcity mentality, and prone to discouragement.
- Restoring a spirit broken by childhood trauma, crushed by legalism, and thirsting for confidence, community, and purpose.
Since being renewed in the blogging and God-sized Dreaming community, I’ve prayed for God’s direction in my life.
Since transitioning my children from homeschooling to the public school system, I’ve been praying about how I can help to financially support my family.
That’s a lot of prayer, over a long period of time. I’ve been banging on that proverbial door forever, with seemingly only baby steps toward answers.
Until those answers took the form a dream that sneaked up on me. (<====Click to tweet.)
Will you read the rest with me over at God-sized Dreams?
I’d love you to join me there.
