*On Thursdays at Faith Barista, Bonnie Gray serves up a writing prompt and invites bloggers to join her in writing on a specific topic. Today’s prompt is: JESUS.*
*This post is also a continuation of my blogging through my God-sized dream. For previous posts in the dream series, please see the titles under “God-Sized Dreaming” in the sidebar at the right.*

I know she thinks she is too deep and complicated, but that is what I love about her so much. It thrills Me to see her breathe in this magnificent world my Father created and to contemplate the people and ideas in it.
She is beautiful, and I look forward to the day when she believes that!
It makes me smile to see her confident in the gifts I’ve given her. I rejoice when she sits down to create. Each brushstroke and drop of glue is a delight to me. Each word typed and spoken in encouragement makes me want to do cartwheels! When Mandy combines those: art, words, and love: watch out!
She makes me proud.
If you see her, remind her that she is valuable, protected, and worthy of support. She worries about that.
I have given her such as strong voice, and we are working on her claiming it. I made her for freedom. I died for her freedom, and I am carrying her through a journey of healing so she will live and love abundantly.
I am pleased that she is inviting me to do this.
If you could see her heart like I do, no words would be necessary. Her desire to speak truth and life into all my children, as she strives to live that out, makes me want to burst with excitement!
Did you know? She keeps asking me to show her how to abide. And I am showing her, in increments, as she is ready to receive it.
She is my beloved, and I treasure most the times I can remind her of that, especially when she receives Me in the Eucharist, and we are truly one.
My precious, precious girl. I love her. I cherish her. I delight in her.
I rejoice in her.
In her, I am well pleased.

So, there you have it. Presented with knees knocking, as Ann would say.
And here’s my invitation: spend some time in prayer and ask Him. What would He say about you?
Would you share it with me? I would love to know what you discover!

What a treat it was to log in this morning as see your name and smiling face here:) How good and faithful you are in reminding me, and encouraging me, to watch for how He pursues me and to let Him love on me. Thank you for the homework;) To say it is good for the soul is an understatement. I’m still soaking it in. Love you!
Oh, this is beautiful.
And now you’ve got me thinking. And listening.

Fabulous! I pray He speaks oodles of truth to your heart! If you want, I would love to know what He tells you, Kristin. Thank you for reading and for your kind words.
This is a wonderful post! I love your courage to share it with all of us. It sounds like something we would write to our own kids, so if we as humans can love in extraordinary ways, how much more our Father who created us from scratch! He does love us so. Each of us. Beautiful. Thanks!

“I have given her such as strong voice, and we are working on her claiming it. I made her for freedom. I died for her freedom, and I am carrying her through a journey of healing so she will live and love abundantly.” This is a post everyone needs to see. I’m tweeting it, facebooking it and liking it where ever you’ve posted it. (Not that I have much of an audience…but well, I’ll do anything I can to get it out. Ha!) Those words are incredible. They truly are straight from Jesus. Thank you for not letting the enemy keep you in fear and hold those words away from people who need to read them.
Christine…wow, my friend. I am so humbled by your words! Thank you, so much. I can’t tell you what your words mean to me. I am so blessed by you!
This is beautiful, and yes, it prompted me to think about what He would say about me, how He would describe me. Thank you for the dose of encouragement!

Loved this post! I enjoyed what you wrote…and it was an interesting spin on blogging about Jesus. Now, you have me thinking, hmmmm……what would Jesus say about me?
Aw, thanks, Dawn! I am thrilled that you are thinking about what Jesus would say about you. I’m praying He covers in loving truth. Come back and tell me about it!
What would Jesus say about me? I am SO honored to be here in this very moment, as you speak in your full voice, in this post. It is unabashedly faith to blog this letter, as it went straight from the whispers of Jesus into your heart, flowing as daughter sharing with us. And how much more real it is as you speak it into the world, through the writing of your words! It just takes my.breath.away. Totally. Takes.my.breath.away. Love you, Mandy!

Thank you for leaving these words of truth, life, and encouragement for me, Bonnie. I went with what I thought He was laying on my heart, praying it was His Spirit and not my own. I wasn’t sure where this process was (or is) going…so I appreciate your words:) A beautiful way of expressing what happened here. Love you back!

Mandy, I always love your posts and how much you make me think. That’s such a HUGE challenge to consider what Jesus would say about us. How humbling and freeing at the same time. I believe every word that you shared and how much He is beaming at you finding your voice and being His beloved! I’m going to challenge myself on this, too!

It is a huge challenge, and, initially, I saw all my weaknesses. I thought He must be so disappointed in my failings. Then I realized that is not what defines me to Him. I pray He showers you with love and truth. I would love to know what you discover! Thank you for your kind words:)
